    Duties And Responsibilities

    • Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, vendors, and carriers.
    • Respond to clients, insurance carriers, sales team, and supervisors’ correspondences and requests in a timely, effective, and professional manner.
    • Research and present answers to client questions about their policies and coverage.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on carrier products and guidelines

    Must-Have Qualifications

    • You’re a self-starter and an independent learner who enjoys mastering new skills quickly.
    • With very little supervision, you anticipate needs, take action and create efficiencies.
    • You’re organized and know the art of building relationships with teammates, clients and vendors.
    • This role performs a wide range of duties including being the first impression of clients, carriers, and vendors.
    • Using your impeccable communication skills and work ethic, you will apply critical thinking skills, work independently and anticipate agency needs and client questions.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Basic math skills and aptitude for learning new technology
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel
    • Positive attitude, good listening skills and empathy
    • Highly-organized and strong time management skills
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment within tight deadlines
    • Works with integrity and a high-level of confidentiality
    • Preferred Experience
      • 1-3 years in the insurance field
      • Previous experience working with Applied Epic (or similar software)
      • Property & Casualty Licensed in the State of Michigan

  • Licensed Insurance CSA/Sales (PL)

    We are looking for a licensed insurance professional to work in our personal lines sales/ service department in our Plymouth, MI office. At C. L. Finlan, we seek to provide an insurance solution that protects the assets of our customers through the sale of insurance products. We are an independent agency representing financially sound insurance carriers. Our products include Auto Insurance, Homeowner’s Insurance, Renter’s Insurance, Life Insurance, and Specialty Insurance (Umbrella, Boat, Motorcycle, and RV).

    Duties And Responsibilities

    • Ability to work independently
    • Answer phone calls to discuss current issues and discover additional insurance needs
    • Responsible for effectively using all available resources to create sales proposals and applications, make policy changes, answer policy and billing questions, and provide requested documentation.
    • Ability to solve problems for the customer while satisfying the guidelines of our partner companies.

    Must-Have Qualifications

    • Property & Casualty License preferred
    • Previous Experience in Insurance Sales a Plus
    • Strong communication skills
    • Excellent Customer service
    • Excellent computer skills
    • Interest in insurance
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills
    • Decision making ability
